Sunshine & Silhouettes at the Pimlico Road Street Party. We stepped away from Notting Hill for the evening to co-host a cocktail party with LUKE IRWIN RUGS LIMITED as part of the street's annual celebration. It was a real pleasure to soak in the energy of the area and celebrate with friends, clients and designers. Guests enjoyed bespoke silhouettes by the talented Alison Russell, all while sipping cocktails before exploring the next showroom along the road. Thank you to everyone who joined us! #PimlicoRoad #LondonEvents #BritishCraftsmanship #DesignCommunity

As we welcome the summer sun, here’s a look back at some highlights from the past couple of months: ? Knowledge sharing Rupert Bevan and Carlien Rendall continued their momentum of hosting CPDs and sharing key insights on commissioning bespoke furniture. It was a pleasure presenting for Elycian, with more conversations to come! ?? Stateside visits Rupert travelled to Dallas, Austin, and New York last month to meet clients, attend ICFF, and connect with fellow creatives and leading interior designers. ?? Community in Notting Hill With our neighbourhood continuing to grow, it felt like the perfect moment to host a get-together, welcoming new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones. ?? WOW!house highlights Our signature antiqued mirror glass features in rooms by Daniel Slowik, Nicola Harding, and Thurstan, with each using our hand-crafted panels within their designs. ?? Spotlight on the Clement Chair While at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour stop by the South Dome to view our latest showcase, the Clement Chair, set among the Shropshire hills where our workshops are based. #WOWhouse25 #InteriorDesign #DesignCentre #LondonDesign #BritishCraftsmanship #CommunityConnections #USDesign #ICFF #BespokeFurniture

Let's take you a step back in time and reintroduce you to the man behind the brand. For those of you who don't know, Rupert founded the business nearly 35 years ago (though he’ll tell you it feels just like yesterday) and has shaped it into what you see today. He kicked off his career as a gilder and restorer, mastering techniques like gilding, polishing, painting, and lacquering. It was through this work that he developed a real love for blending materials – crafting unique, beautifully made pieces rooted in true craftsmanship. That foundation sparked a passion for bringing people’s ideas to life and building what would become the RB aesthetic. “We’re not limited to any one style or era – it’s about connecting design with craftsmanship. It’s about making things by hand, with the utmost care, to last a lifetime,” Rupert shares. Last week, Rupert hosted our first marbling workshop of the year, guiding guests through key techniques to help them gain a deeper understanding of the craft that inspired our wallpaper range. From bold, striking comb effects to freehand floral designs, it was a wonderful evening of creativity – an ideal escape from the London cold. Thank you for joining us, Isabella Worsley, Daisy Dawnay (née Allsup) and India Hessian. We’ll be pausing our marbling workshops for now, but stay tuned for exciting things ahead. #LondonWorkshop #BritishCraftsmanship #FurnitureMaker
