At our La Spezia facility, our recent test rig preparation for a horizontal BB2 centrifugal pump, with a flow rate of 2,000 m3/h and absorbed power of 1 MW, focused on the fundamentals that ensure test accuracy. We paid close attention to the suction and discharge piping lengths, which are Critical to Quality (CTQ) for accurate performance measurement. Key considerations included: - Proper straight pipe lengths upstream and downstream of the pump and flowmeters - Minimizing turbulence to maintain stable flow conditions - Full alignment with industry best practices for test rig geometry These steps are essential to make sure the measurements captured during testing truly reflect the pump’s performance and reliability in the field. Our 2024 Sustainability Report marks the fifth year of committed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) progress, and reflects a year of measurable advancement, global collaboration, and purpose-driven innovation. Safety remained paramount in 2024. Through our global “Zero Harm” initiative, enhanced Life-Saving Behaviors training, and the continued work of our Global Safety Forum, we strengthened our culture of accountability and preparedness. Although our Total Recordable Injury Rate rose slightly to 0.57, a proactive increase in near-miss reporting shows growing employee engagement with safety practices. Across Trillium Flow Technologies’ global footprint, teams launched wellness programs—from therapy dog visits in Massachusetts to mental health movement weeks at our facilities in the UK and interdepartmental fitness clubs in our facilities in France. A key milestone included 2,530 employee volunteer hours supporting local causes like food banks, cancer research, and STEM education for youth. Apprenticeship programs and STEM partnerships helped expose students to engineering careers, while DEI efforts advanced gender diversity in leadership roles across our facilities in France and China. We achieved a 19% reduction in emissions intensity compared to our 2020 baseline, with 24% of our global electricity sourced from renewables. In partnership with One Tree Planted, we met our goal of planting 10,000 trees, thanks to company-wide fundraising and Green Team efforts. Our facilities embraced creative sustainability—from installing raised garden beds to launching upcycling contests and water-saving innovations. A new vacuum process at our Fresno test lab now conserves an estimated 800-900 gallons of water per test, saving thousands of gallons annually. With zero violations of our Supplier Code of Conduct or Human Rights and Modern Slavery Policy since our founding, Trillium Flow Technologies continues to uphold the highest standards of corporate responsibility. Our ESG governance framework—guided by executive leadership and the Board—ensures rigorous compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement. In 2024, 76% of employees completed compliance training, and third-party due diligence processes were expanded. Innovation underpinned our sustainability progress. We advanced product efficiency with impeller designs and re-rated pumps that help customers cut energy costs.
